White label only, 25 copies. I wanted to screw the (techno) rules and just go off into my own universe. If I was brave enough it would work. Distorted burning spear loops, tite echo breakbeats; I called it “breakcore” – fast squiggly break cut ups with analog synths for your face; live turntable cutups of hip hop and early basic channel.
The german magazines gave it very good reviews but the distributors turned it down. I kind of turned tail and went back to techno. If I had had a “name” it would have worked.
