anti-americanism

The real Reasons many people hate America.
1) Significant numbers of Muslims have died at US hands. Its true.
2) The US continually has played games of 'global stability' at the expense of millions in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. Few americans have died in these wars/ 'police actions'. Much of the world has suffered and desperately wished America could really feel its pain. Put Nielsen ratings have shown that "pain does not play".
3) Most American's are ignorant of even the names of the countries that our tax dollars have been used to decimate. It is obviously a machine gone out of control.
4) Pattern: US funds a rebellion or war against another country. Later the funded turn into our worst enemy. Iraq was trained and funded by us against Iran. Afghanistan was trained and funded by us against Soviet Union. Pakistan is next.
From a fundamentalist point of view, these are valid reasons for hatred towards America.
Extremists feel that WTC, the embassies and the warship Cole are valid responses to previous strikes by the US against fundamentalist Islam.
Humanity expresses that terrorism is not a valid response, but then neither is starving to death 1.5 million non-military Iraqis.
US media seems to be acutely self-absorbed at this point. European media has covered a far wider range of investigations, but as usual the US population seems to be unaware there is a world outside its borders.
%8 million soft targets like americans% Larry Mosqueda (Evergreen) "Last Tuesday's events reminded me of the shock and horror I felt in 1965 when the U.S. sponsored a coup in Indonesia that resulted in the murder of over 800,000 people, and the subsequent slaughter in 1975 of over 250,000 innocent people in East Timor by the Indonesian regime with the direct complicity of President Ford and Secretary of State Henry Kissenger. In case you all hadn't noticed, the world is falling apart. I posted here back on September 11th, 2007 that the finance world was going to fall apart. http://crucial-systems.com/For_those_of_you_that_dont_pay_attention_to_the_world_of_finance The reason I fled New York was that I could see quite clearly that the wheels were going to come off that wagon and the US may very well collapse into chaos. Alarmist, yes. That's what alarms are for. The solid truth is that the financial markets always precede the real ...
- Artist Dr. Steven Kurtz cleared of all charges
This was the most bat shit crazy episode in the whole Bush Gestapo Era. Charges are finally dropped, but as Kurtz states, there is no re-compensation for him. The case originated in May 2004, when Kurtz's wife Hope died of heart failure as the couple was preparing a project about genetically modified agriculture for the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Police who responded to Steve Kurtz's 911 call deemed the Kurtzes' art materials suspicious and alerted the FBI. Kurtz explained ...
- quagmire
Dick in 2004. Right. So what were they thinking the second time round ? Its time to get the whole middle east powder keg going. Its time to destroy the US itself USSR-Afghanistan style, thus opening it up for corporate takeover. Its time for Armageddon. They are in contact with space aliens, and its the aliens that told them they had to do it. The so-called Left should give up trying to reason with these people and saying America got ...
- respect to the deserters
At an Army base in Alaska last year, "there was one guy who literally chopped off his trigger finger with an axe to prevent his deployment," Dr. Thomas Grieger, a senior navy psychiatrist said in an interview. New york times, mon april 9th, 2007 Respect. More respect then I give to the Buddhist monk in Thailand who cut off his penis because it wouldn't sit still during meditation. Interesting: The desertion rate during the Vietnam war was 5% (NYT)
